Summer Days

The streets are hot, tubes are rammed and sticky (and in my case this morning, infuriatingly delayed) and London is steamy and heated.  Clothes should be as sizzling as the temperatures - saturated colours, neon brights, bohemian shapes and bold prints are all for the taking.  Here are just a few looks I love and why I love them.

Cute little blossoms teamed with glossy black nails.

When the temperature drops, cover up with a super sweet, but bold, jacket.

Neon. Green. Lace.  No explanation necessary.
Acid brights with grey marl is the perfect union.

More lace.  This time in virginal white, juxtaposed with devilish leather.

Lime green and diamonds.  Who knew?

Gypsy-style accessorizing.  Pile on bangles, charm bracelets, statements rings, simple bands....
Anything.  As long as it's gold.

Heavenly.  A sweet little flash of white crochet short under the perfect oatmeal knit.

Roll up the jeans and throw on a heel.

Scarf prints have catapulted straight off the D&G catwalk.  They're silky, they're brash.  They're Summer.

If in doubt, go breton.
Mix up chunky, interesting jewellery to give a basic T an edge.

A crisp white blazer is a classic.  Carry Starbucks with care.

Black offsets brights.

Shoes with shiny, molton toes.  A Must Have.

Finally, throw a jumper on over a dress or with a skirt for the most effortless Summer look of all.
Keep it short, playful and infinitely playful.
